PARTY WITH SMARTY bumped with a rival at the start, was urged along at the rear, dropped from the four path to the two path on the turn, shifted in while gaining in upper stretch then squeezed through inside of a foe, moved out into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up late and prevail. SEEKER'S HOPE was hustled from the gate, tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, pursued the leader under a drive into the final furlong, gained coming to the sixteenth-pole, took a short lead late but was caught while able to get the place. SPORTS HERO was urged along off the pace, saved ground early on the turn, moved to the three path later on that bend, drifted out under a left-handed crop in upper stretch and finished willingly for the show. GYPSY DREAMING went to the front then set the pace under pressure to his outside, moved clear leaving the backstretch, extended the advantage while inside on the turn, was asked for his best in upper stretch, led into the final sixteenth but was overtaken. GREY ACE was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the two path, swung out to the five path into upper stretch and lacked the needed response. HELLO NEWMAN bumped with opponents on both sides at the start, was urged along off the pace, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, spun into upper stretch in the seven path and also lacked the needed response. FREEDOM MAKER was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the three path, turned into upper stretch in the six path and failed to rally. LOUGH CURRANE brushed with a rival at the start, chased the pace down the backstretch, dropped back in the three path on the turn and weakened. JAMAICA REDD raced up close on the outside, dropped back leaving the backstretch, rounded the turn in the five path, floated out to the nine path into upper stretch and capitulated. DAW SAMAA broke out and brushed with a rival, pressed the pace on the outside of the leader, dropped back in the two path on the turn and tired. OLIGARCH bumped with foes on both sides at the start, was urged along near the rear, traveled around the turn in the six path then five path, drifted inward in upper stretch and was no factor. DIO DOUBLE GEE broke in and bumped with a foe, raced up close to the early pace, dropped back near the nine-sixteenths pole, fell to the rear in the five path on the turn and faltered then was eased but walked off.
