SAILAWAY chased four then three paths off the inside down the backstretch and into the turn, tucked to the two path placed to urging at the three-eighths marker, angled six wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive issuing a challenge inside the final furlong and surged late to get up in the last jumps to the wire. SASSAFRASSNESS chased just off the pace six paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked three wide through the turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole and advanced to take command spinning two to three wide into upper stretch, inched away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and was nailed in the final strides. MELLE MEL cut the pace down the backstretch two to three paths off the inside, tucked inside through the turn and came under urging near the quarter pole, got headed at that station and took the inside route into upper stretch, ran on to secure the show honors. SASSY PRINCESS chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths pole, swung four wide into upper stretch and kept on to the finish. BABY SASSICAIA broke out at the start bumping CHOCOLATECHOCOLATE, chased four then two wide under encouragement from midway on the turn, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. KADENA chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, angled five wide into upper stretch, weakened. CHOCOLATECHOCOLATE got bumped at the start by BABY SASSICAIA, who broke outwards, chased eight paths off the rail down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn, went eight wide into upper stretch, had no kick. VINO SAMARA chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch, weakened. LUCKFORYOU hustled from the gate, chased along the inside, came under brief urging at the nine-sixteenths, continued along the inside through the turn getting placed back to urging midway before heading three to four wide into upper stretch and tired.
