SERGEANT CAPPS tracked the pace on the outside, ranged up in the three path on the turn, made a bid outside the five-sixteenths pole, moved clear coming to the quarter-pole, extended the advantage into the final furlong, remained clear while kept to the task into the final sixteenth then was briefly placed under lighter urging and held to prevail. ANALOG JONES was well placed just off the pace, drafted inside on the turn, was shuffled back behind a stopping AIRBORNE ELITE near the five-sixteenths pole, had multiple rivals go past him in the process, shifted to the three path to go around that foe while roused shortly thereafter, chased the winner in the stretch, gained quickly into the final sixteenth but missed while clear for the place. GOLDEN PLATE settled off the pace, was roused late on the backstretch, gained in the four path on the turn, made a bid nearing the five-sixteenths pole, dropped behind the winner around the quarter-pole, chased that foe in the stretch and lacked the needed kick while clear for the show. LOU was grabbed with the left-rein at the start, raced well back under urging, went around the turn in the two to three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path and improved position. WHO'S THE KING went to the front, set the pace under pressure, vied inside while roused on the turn, dropped back at the quarter-pole and tired. BLAME IT ON DADDY was urged along towards the rear, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, dropped to the rail outside the quarter-pole and failed to rally. TWO'S A CROWD prompted the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the turn, raced between horses passing the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back outside the quarter-pole and tired. BECAUSE THE NIGHT angled in early then moved back out, raced well back on the outside, traveled around the turn in the five path, moved in a touch around the quarter-pole and was no factor. AIRBORNE ELITE was urged along off the pace, dropped back outside the five-eighths pole, raced inside to the two path on the turn and retreated then was eased but walked off.
