Footnotes
MURSAL showed speed and led early, lost the advantage inside the three-quarter pole then stalked the pace, was asked in the three path on the turn, gained to make a bid into the stretch, took the lead at the three-sixteenths pole, battled outside of a foe under a strong hand-ride into the final furlong, swapped back to her inside lead when given one pop of the crop outside the sixteenth-pole, switched back to the proper lead shortly thereafter and proved best under a solid hand-ride to the finish. PINK ROSE was sent hard from the gate, moved up to get the lead inside the three-quarter pole, rounded the turn in the two path, was given her cue around the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch, fought inside that foe into the final furlong and was outfinished while clear for the place. PENS STREET settled off the pace, was roused in the three path on the turn, dropped to the two path late on that bend, moved out in upper stretch and improved to just get the show. PISTOL LIZ ABLAZEN settled towards the rear, saved ground while roused on the turn, chased against the rail into the final furlong and weakened then lost the show. WHISTLER'S STYLE was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, settled at the rear, was urged along late on the backstretch, traveled around the turn in the three path, spun into the stretch in the five path and was no factor. PATTY CAKES tracked the pace on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn and tired. LUNA MOTH broke out then was hustled, raced off the pace under urging, went around the turn in the two path and came up empty. CHAMPAGNE SURPRISE was coaxed along on the outside, came under stronger encouragement in the four path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the six path and had nothing left.
