Footnotes
COMBAT MISSION was bumped at the start, showed speed then stalked the pace on the outside, engaged the leaders in the three path on the turn, took the advantage inside the five-sixteenths pole then moved clear while dropping to the two path, drew away under a drive into the final sixteenth then was kept to the task to the finish while much the best. WHERE'S YOUR BOOM broke in and bumped with an opponent, settled off the pace, dropped back under urging with six furlongs to run, gained in the three path on the turn, chased the winner in the stretch, remained on his inside lead until inside the furlong marker then swapped to the proper lead and was second best. TWENTY ONE RED was rated just off the pace, drafted behind horses in the two path early on the turn, shifted to the three path while asked just inside the five-sixteenths pole, chased the winner into the final furlong and weakened but was well clear for the show. LE CADEAU broke in at the start, dropped back early then moved out around the three-quarter pole, was urged along in the four path on the turn and was no factor. TIZLAWRY was bumped lightly just after the start, dropped back early then angled out leaving the chute, moved in later on the backstretch, shifted from the two path to the four path on the turn, floated into the six path entering the stretch and faltered then was transported off the track via equine ambulance after being brought back to the paddock. LEAVE ME stumbled at the start but broke with the rest of the field then was hustled, showed speed then disputed the pace on the outside, vied in the two path while shortening stride on the turn, was taken up while dropping back inside the five-sixteenths pole and stopped then was eased but walked off. LORD KING came in at the start then made light contact with a foe, showed speed then contested the pace on the inside of a rival, vied inside under urging while shortening stride badly on the turn, was taken up while dropping back inside the five-sixteenths pole and also stopped then was kept under some light coaxing while distanced from all but LEAVE ME in the final furlong.
