FORGONE chased four then three wide coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths marker, swung five wide into upper stretch, shied out slightly under a left handed crop, rallied to issue a challenge inside the final furlong and was up in the final forty yards, then edged away to the finish. ARMY PROUD coaxed from the gate, prompted the leader from the outside three then two wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths pole, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive getting repelled until the final jumps and was up for the place honors on the shadow of the wire. COUNTER MOVE coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat to the outside, staved off that rival, then got caught forty yards from the finish before being nailed in the last jumps for the place honors and was forced to settle for the show. UNDERGRAD chased five then four wide under a ride from the three-eighths pole, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly with interest. GOOD COP chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch, briefly tucked to the two path near the half mile pole before heading three wide through the turn, went five wide into upper stretch and improved position. DR. MERCILESS broke out a step at the start bumping BIG BROWN DELIVERS, chased along the inside and then just off the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths marker, spun two to three wide for home and weakened. SABBY SUNSET chased along the inside under urging from three furlongs out, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, and weakened. BIG BROWN DELIVERS got bumped at the start by DR. MERCILESS, chased three then two wide under encouragement from midway on the turn, angled five wide into upper stretch and tired. PERFECT SHEPHARD broke a half a beat slow without incident, chased along the inside and then just off the inside before heading back to the rail into the turn getting placed to urging half a mile from home, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and trailed.
