EZ TREE ATES dwelt at the start, advanced four-wide, three-wide turn, challenged outside stretch, dueled, drew out from sixteenth pole. OFF THE PAYROLL cleared early, took inside, pressured, shook second rival late turn, dueled stretch, gave best while giving way. MADELINE TOTHE MAX broke inwards, stumbled, bumped with LA CANONICA, pressed outside to turn, moved inside, made a mild bid inside to the eighth pole, tired. LA CANONICA, bumped at the break, advanced three-wide to force pace outside turn, turned back in late turn, finished evenly. POINT MAID, well placed inside early, dropped back, lacked rally. The rider aboard MADELINE TO THE MAX lodged a claim of foul against the rider of OFF THE PAYROLL for interference passing the eighth pole. There was no change.
