HEY BIG UN forced pace outside, opened up final turn, challenged into stretch, dueled with outside rival while drifting out, short lead sixteenth pole, continued to drift out into rival, held on. HAPPY CAMPER saved ground, challenged outside stretch, dueled, headed sixteenth pole, carried out to wire while giving best. WICKED ROSE trailed to final turn, advanced five-wide, rallied. FUNKENSTEIN stalked off rail, rallied between horses, crowded rivals passing sixteenth pole, forcing MISTER K to steady, bothering WRONG DIRECTION, and in turn forcing WINSTON BLUE to check along the rail, made a show bid to no avail. GHOST ART forced pace inside, well placed inside final turn, bid early stretch, tired. MISTER K stalked three-four-wide, was crowded into inside rivals by FUNKENSTEIN passing the sixteenth pole, steadied, tired. WRONG DIRECTION saved ground, advanced into stretch, bothered sixteenth pole, finished evenly. SARAH'S VISION stalked forced pace off rail, inside final turn, faded. WINSTON BLUE stalked off rail, advanced inside, crowded, checked sixteenth pole, faded. FORT LANGLEY took a short lead between horses early, forced issue to late backstretch, gave way. The trainer of HAPPY CAMPER lodged a claim of foul against the jockey aboard HEY BIG UN for interference in the stretch drive. As a result HEY BIG UN was disqualified and placed second.
