Footnotes
BABY SASSICAIA was hustled from the gate, showed speed between foes then dropped back nearing the three-quarter pole, tracked the pace from that point, was asked in the three path on the turn, gained to get the lead into upper stretch then shook clear, remained clear into the final sixteenth and held under steady urging. MITOLE'S GIRL was hustled from the gate then urged along off the pace, moved from the rail to the two path late on the turn, shifted out to the four path after turning into the stretch, pursued the winner into the final sixteenth and gained willingly but missed while clear for the place. DANNEEL was hustled from the gate, showed speed on the outside of two opponents, moved in near the three-quarter pole then went clear inside that pole, was asked while two path to the inside on the turn, lost the advantage to the winner into upper stretch and weakened but was clear for the show. SHADYSIDE showed speed on the inside of two rivals, dropped back inside the three-quarter pole, retreated towards the rear of the field under urging, shifted from the three path to the five path on the turn and lacked the needed response. DOLCE SERA was hustled from the gate then dropped back under urging, raced at the rear, rounded the turn in the four path and was no factor.
