MIDNIGHT CONCERTO was taken back between horses before the first turn, raced in the two path on that bend, was reserved off the pace with some cover, gained late on the backstretch after being let out with a half-mile to run, made a bid at the seven-sixteenths pole, took the lead in the three path on the far turn, shook clear into upper stretch, drifted out under a left-handed crop near the furlong marker then was quickly switched to a right-handed crop, remained well clear into the final sixteenth and held while kept to the task under a hand-ride while flagged with the crop late. CAN'T FOOL ME saved ground on the first turn, was reserved at the rear, moved out late on the backstretch, was roused in the four path on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch and finished with good energy to garner the place. NATIONAL ARCHIVE established a forward position early, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied between foes in the two path on the far turn, dropped back into upper stretch, chased the winner into the final fulrong and weakened while able to get the show. SCYTHIAN saved ground on the first turn, was reserved near the back, went around the far turn in the two then three path while roused, came into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed kick while able to get the last spot in the superfecta. SNOWY EVENING tucked into the two path for the run around the first turn, was rated with cover, traveled around the far turn in the two path while asked, was driven into the stretch in the four path and lacked the needed response. HELLO BEAUTY went to the front, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the first turn, showed the way in hand, was asked along the rail while inside of foes on the far turn, lost the lead at the five-sixteenths pole, dropped back into upper stretch and tired. HIGHER FORCE was hustled from the gate then rated on the inside, continued to save ground while asked on the far turn and came up empty.
