CHARDONNAY DERBY settled on the outside under some urging, was roused in the four path on the turn, rallied in the five path into the stretch, closed fast to get the lead inside the three-sixteenths pole then kicked clear, led under a drive into the final sixteenth and just held under strong urging. KEF was away alertly, settled off the pace, went around the turn in the two then three path, waited behind horses while blocked into upper stretch, altered to the outside at the three-sixteenths pole, rallied outside while still on her inside lead into the final furlong, swapped to the proper lead while gaining outside the sixteenth-pole and closed strongly to just miss while well clear for the place. MY DEVINE ONE was eased back early then well placed just off the pace, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, waited while blocked behind horses into upper stretch, altered to the outside inside the three-sixteenths pole and lacked the needed response while up for the show. BENGALESE broke a step slow, settled towards the back, moved from the rail to the four path under urging on the turn, turned into the stretch in the six path and lacked the needed response. MY DAUGHTERS' GIFT settled at the rear, dropped from the three path to the inside under urging on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and failed to rally. VIVIENNA chased the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, gained in the four path into the stretch then made a bid around the three-sixteenths pole, lost touch with the winner while remaining on her inside lead, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened. COVERT AFFAIR showed speed then contested the pace on the outside of an opponent, vied in the two path while asked on the turn, dropped back in upper stretch and tired. BARBOUR COUNTY moved up to dispute the pace on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail while asked for more on the turn, dropped back in upper stretch and faded.
