Footnotes
TRUST ISSUES got brushed at the start by UNCLE JIM due to pressure from TIMAEUS breaking outwards, prompted the pace outside the top pair four paths off the rail down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and seized command just outside that station, swung three to four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive coming under challenge a furlong out, rebuffed that foe to hold sway to the finish. SHOOT THE NICKEL a bit reluctant to load prior to the start, got coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside coming under a ride near the quarter pole, angled five wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid to latch on the top one a furlong out, got repelled by that rival and then came mildly again to latch on at the finish. UNCLE JIM got bumped at the start by TIMAEUS, who broke outwards and conceded two to three lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased four to five wide under urging nearing the quarter pole, angled six wide at the head of the stretch, kept on to the wire. GOLDEN SYMPHONY coaxed from the gate, established the front inside six furlongs to run and showed the way along the inside under pressure from a pair of rivals, yielded the front while coaxed along at the five-sixteenths marker, cut the corner into upper stretch and weakened. TIMAEUS broke out at the start bumping UNCLE JIM, who in turn brushed TRUST ISSUES, pressed the pace three paths off the inside and three wide through the turn loosely between rivals, took over narrow and brief command with five-sixteenths remaining, got headed for the front just outside the quarter pole and spun three wide into upper stretch, then tired through to the finish.
