LUPINE was hustled to the front, showed the way with a clear advantage, went around most of the turn in the two path then dropped to the inside, was asked outside the quarter-pole, responded well when put to the crop outside the furlong marker and held under strong urging. FIVE DOZEN ROSES dropped back towards the rear of the field, went around the turn in the three then four path, turned into the stretch in the six path and finished with good energy to just get the place. MY LIL ARMY GIRL broke out and bumped hard with BUSTLING TOWN, chased the pace on the outside, went around most of the turn in the three path then dropped to the two path, kept on in pursuit of the winner in the stretch and just lost the place while clear for the show. MIDNIGHT BLUE was hustled from the gate, chased the pace down the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, moved to the two path coming to the quarter-pole, was driven into the stretch in the three path and lacked the needed kick. FIND YOUR PATH settled off the inside, was roused in the two path on the turn and lacked the needed response. HANNA'S HIDEAWAY broke a bit awkwardly but with the body of the field, settled on the outside, was asked in the four path on the turn, came into the stretch in the five path, swapped back to her inside lead at the furlong marker, drifted out around the sixteenth-pole and also lacked the needed response. STELLA FORTUNA raced well back in the field, rounded the turn in the two path, angled out at the top of the stretch, reached about the six path around the three-sixteenths pole and failed to threaten. BUSTLING TOWN was bumped hard on both sides at the start, settled off the pace, was roused while saving ground on the turn and failed to rally. DREAMY GIRL broke in and bumped hard with BUSTLING TOWN, settled off the pace, dropped from the three path to the two path very early on the turn, was roused on that bend and failed to threaten. RED SPIRITS broke a bit slow, steadied behind a retreating GRESHAM'S LAW inside the five-eighths pole, went around the turn in the two path, came into the stretch in the four path and was no factor. GRESHAM'S LAW had her bridled adjusted during warm-up, dropped back towards the rear of the field, saved ground on the turn and showed little. HIP HOP DANCER was away alertly, chased the pace on the outside, rounded most of the turn in the four path then dropped to the three path and capitulated.
