HELEN'S REVENGE chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under coaxing with five-sixteenths to run, angled six wide into upper stretch, had the leader drift out in front and altered a path just inside the three-sixteenths marker, then came in slightly and bumped with that foe HOWLING WIND when seizing command by a head a furlong out, then edged away to the finish to prevail. TOUGH STREET chased five then four wide under a ride from three furlongs out, cornered five wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick to just garner the place honors over a rival at the end. CAROL T chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn under encouragement from the three-eighths marker, tipped three to four wide into upper stretch and closed well to secure the show honors on the wire. KHALI MAGIC chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride with five-sixteenths remaining, angled out five to six wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the finish. HOWLING WIND led briefly early on and then chased four then three wide in aim of the front, advanced in the turn to stack outside the top pair coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths and taking over command near the quarter pole, swung three to four wide into upper stretch, came out under a left handed crop just inside the three-sixteenths, then traded a bump with HELEN'S REVENGE a furlong out when displaced from command, dug in and was outfinished to the line. PRINCESS BECCA prompted the pace three then two wide and between foes through the turn coming under urging at the five-sixteenths marker, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened in the drive. CITY BLOCKS away last without incident, ranged up to take command six furlongs from home and showed the way in hand along the inside under some pressure from PRINCESS BECCA to the outside down the backstretch, came under increased pressure through the turn now from a pair of rivals and was placed to coaxing at the three-eighths pole, yielded the front nearing the quarter pole and paused in hand for a stride wary of PRINCESS BECCA before taking the inside route into upper stretch, then tired through to the finish.
