WHITE SMOKE RISING broke out at the start, was coaxed along on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, gained to make a bid in the five path at the quarter-pole, battled with the runner-up into the final sixteenth and proved best under strong urging. CITE YOUR SOURCES was hustled from the gate then urged along off the pace, moved out near the nine-sixteenths pole, shifted from the three path to the five path on the turn, gained to make a bid in the seven path into upper stretch then drifted further out, battled outside of the winner into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while able to get the place. ONEPAC was hustled to the front the showed the way, went around most of the turn in the two path, went to the three path outside the quarter-pole, battled with multiple opponents under a drive in upper stretch, lost the lead inside the three-sixteenths pole and was out-kicked but determinedly earned the show. PARTY ANIMAL was hustled from the gate, established a good position just off the pace while inside of a rival, saved ground on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, chased under a drive in the stretch and just missed the show. DISPARATE IMPACT made light contact with a foe at the start, tracked the pace on the outside, was asked in the three path on the far turn, chased in the four path into upper stretch and tired. CHESS MATCH bumped lightly with DISPARATE IMPACT at the start, was urged along at the rear, raced inside to the two path on the turn and was no factor. IF EVER was hustled from the gate then urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the four to five path, dropped to the three path near the quarter-pole, drifted out in upper stretch and failed to respond.
