NOBLE ONE settled at the tail of the field early on along the inside and then just off the inside into the first turn, tipped out three then four wide coming under urging and made a four then three wide bid for command from six furlongs out to take over the front five furlongs from home tucked to the two path, tucked inside three furlongs out, came under urging once more at the five-sixteenths marker, took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat and was headed for command a furlong out, fought on gamely inside to the finish and was just up on the wire to share in the victory with his main rival on the line. RULES OF THE ROAD three wide into the first turn, tucked quickly to the inside midway on that bend and tracked the front along the inside from just off the pace, remained patiently handled until set down spinning three wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command by a head a furlong out, dug in gamely dueling to the finish and shared in the victory on the wire. CHIPS AND FISH broke out at the start bumping DARE DEFYING just after the break, settled tracking the early leader just off the inside in closest aim and then was just off the pace when NOBLE ONE bid for the front into the backstretch, remained just off the inside and came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths pole, angled four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on to secure the show honors. DARE DEFYING got bumped after the break by CHIPS AND FISH, tracked the pace along the inside coming under encouragement three furlongs from home, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, kept on to the finish. JET OFF settled just off the inside near the rear of the field, came under encouragement at the three-eighths marker, spun two to three wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals to the finish. BOLD STATEMENT coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside early on, got displaced from the front nearing the five furlong marker when NOBLE ONE bid for command, settled tracking that rival in closest range along the inside, came under coaxing just off the inside nearing the quarter pole, weakened in the stretch. GABORONE raced just off the inside through the first turn, chased three wide thereafter, angled out near the quarter pole and went six wide into upper stretch losing ground and was eased home through to the finish.
