Footnotes
GROWTH EQUITY was rated two wide on the first turn then was guided to the outside down the backside and tracked the leaders in hand three wide on the far turn, came under mild coaxing nearing the quarter pole and made a four wide bid leaving the turn to gain command and then was given a couple pops left handed with the crop and drew clear to prove best. TALK TO ME JIMMY bobbled a bit at the break but recovered quickly and was sent to the front to set the pace in the two path on the first turn, then traveled comfortably down the backside and was pressured nearing the three eighths marker and was put to coaxing, came two wide off the turn and was sent down nearing the furlong marker and fought on gamely but had to settle for being second best. TRENDSETTER was allowed to settle on the inside on the first turn under a hard hold, moved out to be in the two path entering the far turn and eased out on the turn, swung out six wide leaving the turn and was up for the show award. GULFY stalked the pace three wide on the first turn, then went up to press the leader two wide by the three eighths marker and was in between rivals leaving the turn, angled out by the furlong marker and faded, losing the show award late. AZAM tracked the pace from the inside and fell back leaving the three eighths marker and tired.
