Footnotes
SILVER TALENT was well rated along the inside early, drafted in the two path behind the leaders on the turn, swung out six wide leaving the turn, shifted in nearing the furlong marker brushing slightly with DARK ASSAULT while going on even terms and then went clear and drew out under mild crop urging to prove best. DARK ASSAULT was away alertly and pressed the leader three wide while in hand, continued on the turn three wide and made a four wide bid leaving the turn and gained a short lead by the three sixteenths and then was brushed slightly by the winner by the furlong marker and proved to be no match for that rival in the final furlong while clearly second best. CHILI PALMER set a pressured pace on the inside and then was engaged and dueled for command nearing the quarter pole and weakened in the final furlong, bested the rest. CHESS MATCH was off slowly and reserved while on the outside down the backside, moved in to be two wide entering the turn and angled out nearing the three sixteenths and was not a threat. MOON ON FIRE tracked the leaders on the outside down the backside, three wide four wide on the turn and came under a ride leaving the five sixteenths and tired.
