Footnotes
INTO AMORE moved in while hustled to the front, rounded the first turn in the two path, was well rated on the inside of a rival while off the rail, went around the far turn in the two path, was asked outside the five-sixteenths pole, spun into the stretch in the three path, was put to a left-handed crop while battling with the runner-up outside the furlong marker, responded well in the final furlong and just held under strong urging. PRIDES CROSSING raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, came under light coaxing in the three path on the far turn, was roused just after the winner outside the five-sixteenths pole, turned into the stretch in the four path while under a right-handed crop, drifted out when switched to a left-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths pole then was straightened by the rider, swapped back to the right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole, inched closer to the winner late and just missed while clear for the place. BELLS BEACH broke out and bumped with a foe, saved ground on the first turn, was rated in a good position behind the leader, came under urging inside the five-eighths pole, chased in the three then four path on the far turn, turned into the stretch in the five path then drifted out under a left-handed crop, switched to a right-handed crop near the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick while far clear for the show. TONED UP was bumped at the start then checked while pinched back, traveled around the first turn in the two path, lagged at the rear, saved ground on the far turn and was no factor. KISS ME HARDY moved out early, raced in the four path on the first turn, was urged along on the backstretch, dropped back near the half-mile pole, rounded the far turn in the four path and capitulated.
