Footnotes
ANYWAY prompted the pace from the outside and inched closer and vied for command three wide by the quarter pole, made a bid to go clear nearing the furlong marker and then drew out to prove best under crop urging. LIFE IS GRAVY (IRE) hit the gate leaving at the start, was out-sprinted early on the outside, four to five wide on the turn and came seven wide into the lane and closed well winning the bob for the place award. SOUTHEASTERN tracked the early pace on the inside, then drafted behind the vying threesome two to three wide on the turn, swung out five wide leaving the turn and finished well but lost the bob for the place award. B PROVOCATEUR dueled for the lead on the inside and then vied for command on the rail nearing the quarter pole and was passed nearing the furlong marker and then angled off the rail and faded late. TOUGH GUY TONY dueled for the lead two wide and then vied for command between rivals nearing the quarter pole and weakened in the lane.
