Footnotes
ART FAIR hustled from the gate, cut the pace just off the inside under pressure from DISARMED to the outside before being joined by MOTORCADE through the turn, remained patiently handled under prompting from that pair of rivals before being set down spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive kept to task. MOTORCADE five wide in aim of the leader, advanced tucked four wide through the turn and prompted the pace outside a pair, got let out continuing four wide into upper stretch, kept on to the wire. FREE DANCE chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked five then four wide through the turn coming under urging three furlongs from home, cornered five wide into upper stretch, ran on through to the finish. TYPHOON FURY stumbled badly at the start getting away last and conceding four to five lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased three wide detached at the tail of the field, came under encouragement at the three-eighths pole, angled seven wide into upper stretch, improved position to the line. DISARMED lunged at the break, pressed the pace four then three wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths pole, spun three wide for home, tired. LUCAS'S MISCHIEF three then two wide in pursuit, came under urging midway on the turn, angled five wide into upper stretch, tired. CARAMEL CHIP coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside coming under urging midway on the turn, took the inside route into upper stretch, shortened stride just outside the eighth pole and was immediately placed to a protective hold and eased up before being guided outside to be pulled up inside the sixteenth pole, got attended to and vetted on track and was subsequently transported off the course via the equine ambulance.
