NORTH END LADY raced along the inside through the first turn before tracking just off the inside down the backstretch, tipped three then four wide through the far turn coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, angled out nine wide into upper stretch, came inwards two paths straightened away and rallied to take command just inside the sixteenth marker, then inched away to the finish to prevail. HAUNTRESS got bumped at the start by RED BURGUNDY, who broke outwards, settled tracking the front just off the inside from just off the pace, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, angled out eight wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. HEAVENLY LIGHT three wide through the first turn, chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the far turn coming under a ride near the quarter pole, tipped five wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. RED BURGUNDY broke out at the start brushing the off side stall and then bumping HAUNTRESS, showed the way in hand just off the inside, shook away midway down the backstretch and remained clear through the far turn, spun three wide into upper stretch, got set down straightened away, remained clear under a drive to the eighth pole, had the rider look outside at oncoming rivals, relinquished the lead at the sixteenth pole, then looked inside and was flashed the crop to the right side through to the finish while under very light urging late. JULIET ON APPROACH along the inside through the first turn, chased three wide under urging from the five-sixteenths pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, stayed on one paced to the finish. MEG'S FOXY GREY raced just off the inside through the first turn and then three paths off the inside down the backstretch, continued three wide through the far turn and was placed to urging at the five-sixteenths, tipped four wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. CARADISE two to three wide through the first turn, chased three to four wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths marker, lost ground and went five wide into upper stretch and trailed.
