BITE AND STRIKE moved up the inside and rated along the rail, saved ground on the turn,cut the corner leaving the turn and then tipped out a path to make a two wide bid to go on even terms by the furlong marker and kicked clear and kept the fast closing CITY OF OSCARS safe to prove best under a drive. CITY OF OSCARS was settled early and raced in between rivals on the turn, swung out five wide leaving the turn and then lacked room leaving the three sixteenths and was in traffic and angled in for racing room and then closed well the final sixteenth but had to settle for being second best. ROAR OF THE CROWD tracked the early pace towards the inside, drafting in the two path on the turn behind the dueling leaders, came four wide off the turn to make a bid but exchanged bumps with WILLINTORISKITALL by the furlong marker and then ran on gamely for the show award. WILLINTORISKITALL tracked the pace and raced three wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane to make a bid and exchanged bumped by the furlong marker and kept on to the wire. ROLLIN IN DOUGH bumped at the start, then was bothered shortly after, reserved early and moved in to be two wide entering the turn, moved out to the three path and swung out seven wide leaving the turn and had a belated rally. MASTER FREUD chased the pace from the outside, four wide on the turn and came six wide into the lane but had no punch in the drive while being one paced.
