Footnotes
PEYTON stalked the pace and made a two wide bid leaving the turn to go on even terms by the furlong marker, had a long drive to the wire up got up late under left handed crop urging. MYKONOS was away alertly and crossed over to set the pace on the rail, then was headed leaving the three sixteenths and dug in stubbornly by the furlong marker and fought on to the wire but was out-gamed late to miss. EYE ON THE BALL tracked the pace from the inside and saved ground on the turn, moved out off the rail in the lane and kept on but needed more. BEAU CHEVAL was bumped early, settled towards the inside, two path on the turn and came three wide off the turn and had a mild late kick to gain the last spot in the superfecta. UNTIL LAST CALL tracked the pace from the outside and was three wide on the turn and came four wide into the lane but faded. TONY HOOKS was reserved early and saved ground on the turn but lacked a serious rally. LOBBYIST came in and bumped a foe early, then fell back and trailed by the half mile marker, three wide on the turn and swung out seven wide leaving the turn and then shied out nearing the furlong marker under left handed crop, then was corrected by the sixteenth marker and moved in late. WAR ANTHEM was reserved early and raced two to three wide on the turn but failed to menace. CALVARY HILL was reserved on the inside and saved ground throughout but never threatened.
