Footnotes
THAT'S FUNNY broke a step slow then was hustled, raced well off the pace on the outside while urged along, went around the turn in the four to five path, rallied late on that bend, closed well to make a bid outside the leader at the three-sixteenths pole, took a short advantage under a strong hand-ride at the eighth-pole, drifted in when put to a right-handed crop in the final sixteenth and narrowly prevailed. CHOCOLATECHOCOLATE pressed the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure on the leader leaving the backstretch, took the advantage in the three path midway through the turn, shook clear at the five-sixteenths pole, was asked while still in the three path near the quarter-pole then came under a left-handed crop under attack from the winner in upper stretch, lost the lead to the that foe at the eighth-pole, fought on well in the final furlong, was carried in late and just missed while able to get the place. CIRCUIT COURT was urged along off the pace, moved closer late on the backstretch, shifted from the rail to the two path while going between horses at the three-eighths pole, moved to the three path while asked late on that bend, dropped back to the rail under a drive in upper stretch, chased into the final sixteenth and gained willingly late but missed the place while clear for the show. LUMENIQUE was hustled from the gate then ridden along at the rear, went around most of the turn in the two then three path, shifted to the four path late on that bend, turned into the stretch in the six path under a drive and improved willingly near the center of the track for the last spot in the superfecta. GOODYS GIRL tracked the pace on the outside, moved in leaving the backstretch, raced in the two path early on the turn then was asked in the three path near the three-eighths pole, chased between horses late on that bend then moved to the four path, dropped back in upper stretch and weakened. MY DAUGHTERS' GIFT was away alertly and went straight to the front, showed the way on the inside of a rival, vied inside on the turn, was asked after losing the advantage at the three-eighths pole and stopped then was distanced in the final furlong.
