Footnotes
WHITTINGTON PARK was carried in while hustled from the gate, raced at the rear under urging, went around the turn in the three path, rallied in the four path into the stretch, closed well to make a bid into the final furlong, took the lead while drifting out some nearing the sixteenth-pole then edged clear under steady urging to prevail. BUTTAH broke out at the start, angled in early then tracked the pace on the outside, was asked late on the backstretch, chased in the three path on the turn, gained under a drive to make a bid outside the eighth-pole, battled on even terms for the lead into the final furlong and was outfinished in the final sixteenth while clear for the place. MY LAST MISSION drifted in at the start, disputed the pace on the outside, was asked in the two path on the turn, led under a drive in upper stretch, lost the advantage to the runner-up at the furlong marker and weakened but just held the show. MIGHTY ATLAS broke a step slow, settled off the pace, was roused near the seven-sixteenths pole, shifted from the rail to the two path on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and lacked the needed kick. ELYSIAN MEADOWS broke in then was hustled, was well placed just off the pace, raced under urging late on the backstretch, chased in the two path through the turn and tired. LOTSA TROUBLE was carried in at the start, raced towards the rear while urged along, saved ground on the turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, spun into the stretch in the three path then moved out and failed to threaten. CRIMSON LIGHT was carried in at the start, showed speed then disputed the pace on the inside of a rival, was asked passing the half-mile pole, vied inside under urging on the turn and also tired.
