GEORGE BRIGGS tracked the pace along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, angled out four wide into upper stretch, rallied inside the final furlong seizing command a sixteenth out, then edged clear to the finish to score. IRON MAX got taken in hand when bumped between foes at the start who each broke a step his way, raced three then two wide through the first turn, tracked the front two to three wide patiently handled until let out spinning three wide into upper stretch, rallied to poke a head in front a furlong out, got collared at the sixteenth pole and ran on to preserve the place honors on the line. CABLE READY broke in a step at the start under coaxing and bumped the aforementioned foe, knocked heads with SANZIO through the first turn and into the backstretch before being shaken off a bit six furlongs from home, advanced along the rail and took over the front at the nine-sixteenths marker, showed the way briefly safe before knocking heads once more with SANZIO through the far turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under new threat to the outside and was collared a furlong out, fought on inside running on to procure the show honors at the finish. OUTSOURCE broke out a step at the start bumping IRON MAX in tandem with CABLE READY and was away last after the exchange, tracked the front along the inside and then just off the inside from near the rear of the field, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to run, angled out five wide into upper stretch and kept on to the end. ROCK THE WEEKEND chased two to three wide coming under a ride three furlongs out, angled three to four wide into upper stretch, tired. SANZIO forwardly placed from the gate, raced three then two wide through the first turn knocking heads with CABLE READY before establishing narrow yet sole command into the backstretch, showed the way in hand two to three paths off the rail, had CABLE READY advance inside and was displaced from the front with nine-sixteenths to run, ranged up and dueled through the far turn from the two path under encouragement from the five-sixteenths pole, got shaken off and spun two to three wide at the head of the stretch, then tired through to the finish.
