Footnotes
SEQUENTIAL stalked the pace under a confident hold down the backside, made a three wide bid in hand to take over and be clear by the quarter pole, then drew off smartly to prove much the best under one right handed pop with the crop and then was flagged to the wire. CALLING CARD tracked the pace from the inside and then moved off the inside leaving the five sixteenths to be three wide by the quarter pole and kept on to the wire for the place award but no match to the winner. FLASH OF CHAOS was reserved early on the outside down the backside, made a three to five wide advance on the turn and came six wide into the lane and ran on willingly to best the rest. RUN QUIET RUN FAST chased the pace on the outside down the backside, then was roused by the seven sixteenths while three wide and was four wide by the quarter pole and came five wide off the turn but weakened. THE OBLITERATOR was allowed to settle early towards the inside, two to three wide on the turn but lacked a rally. THIRTEEN G'S had to have a shoe repaired in the paddock, chased the pace and was two to three wide on the turn, came four wide into the lane and angled out but weakened. SEEKER'S HOPE set the pace on the inside and was headed and passed by the five sixteenths and gave way.
