Footnotes
PARADISE VALLEY settled on the inside, was roused late on t he backstretch, moved from the rail to the three path late on the turn, rallied in the four path into the stretch, closed well to get the lead just inside the furlong marker then went clear and proved best under steady urging. WINDSOR GOLD chased the early pace, dropped back outside the five-eighths pole then moved out, went around the turn in the three then four path, was driven into the stretch in the five path, chased outside while looming a threat into the final furlong and proved no match for the winner but finished willingly for the place. CELESTIAL GLAZE bobbled at the start and was last away, tracked the pace on the outside, dropped back with five furlongs to run, was urged along in the three path on the turn, chased under a drive in the stretch and lacked the needed kick while up for the show. GYPSY DREAMING was hustled to the front, had the rider fall back in the saddle outside the three-quarter pole, went clear near the nine-sixteenths pole, raced inside on the turn, was given his cue near the five-sixteenths pole, spun into the stretch in the two path, led under a drive into the final furlong then was headed by the winner and weakened. CURVINO was hustled from the gate then urged along at the rear, traveled around the turn in the three path, came into the stretch in the five path then moved further out and failed to threaten. SUPERPOWER was hustled from the gate, pressed then chased the pace on the outside, went around the turn in the two path, dropped to the rail at the quarter-pole and came up empty.
