SCYTHIAN established a forward position early, raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, was asked in the two path on the far turn, made a bid late on that bend, turned into upper stretch on even terms for the lead, took the advantage near the furlong marker, responded well into the final sixteenth and held under strong urging. SARATOGA SNOW was well placed just off the pace on the inside, chased the leader on the far turn, moved out in upper stretch, pursued the winner into the final sixteenth and finished with good courage to just get the place. CONSIDERATE CITY brushed with a rival at the start, steadied off heels after going a furlong then dropped back, settled on the inside, was roused on the far turn, found her best stride in the final furlong, moved off the rail around the sixteenth-pole and finished with good energy to just miss the place while up for the show. DOWNTOWN CHANNEL went to the front, traveled around the first turn in the two path, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside on the far turn, was asked near the quarter-pole then came under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner near the furlong marker, fought with that foe into the final sixteenth and was outfinished then missed the trifecta. CAN'T FOOL ME brushed with an opponent at the start, settled at the rear on the inside, was roused on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the two path, moved out around the sixteenth-pole and gained but failed to impact. SNOWY EVENING settled in the two path, was given her cue on the final turn, turned into the stretch in the three path and lacked the needed kick.
