SOLO JIM chased seven to eight paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking five then four wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths marker, went nine wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out, edged away to the finish kept to task. PORTADOWN LAD got brushed at the start by ALWAYS HONEST, chased four paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking to the two path into the turn, came under coaxing near the five-sixteenths and tipped out three then four wide nudging ALWAYS HONEST five wide, swung six wide into upper stretch, traded a bump straightened away with that same rival before seizing narrow command at the three-sixteenths pole, dug in coming out two paths under threat nearing the eighth pole and took away the lane of the backing away ALWAYS HONEST at that station when headed for command, ran on to chase the winner home along clear for the place honors. ALWAYS HONEST brushed the near side stall and then PORTADOWN LAD at the start, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch before heading four wide through the turn, got nudged five wide at the five-sixteenths pole, angled seven wide into upper stretch offering up a bid, traded a bump with the aforementioned foe straightened away, dug in and began to back away a furlong out, lost his lane and weakened in the late stages. BOOM SHOCKA BOOM got bumped at the start by KEEP 'EM HONEST, who broke inwards, dueled with that same rival while three to four paths off the rail down the backstretch, tucked to the two path through the turn and began to shake off his main pace foe just outside the quarter pole, went five wide into upper stretch, got collared at the three-sixteenths marker and tired through to the finish. KEEP 'EM HONEST broke in at the start bumping BOOM SHOCKA BOOM, dueled five then three wide with that rival to his inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, faltered in the drive and was eased in the late stages. SANFORD ROUTE was hesitant and then lunged at the break getting away last and conceding three to four lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased four paths off the inside before tucking to the two path through the turn coming under urging three furlongs out, cornered two to three wide into upper stretch and was eased home to the finish when trailing throughout.
