DEFINING ROLE was hustled to the front, went clear inside the three-quarter pole, was asked in the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path, came under the crop outside the furlong marker and drew off under strong urging. KAY ROAD broke out a bit at the start, tracked the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, was given her cue outside the five-sixteenths pole, turned into the stretch in the six path, chased the winner into the final furlong and proved no match while able to hold the place. HANNA'S HIDEAWAY was restless in the gate then hustled from the start, moved out early on the backstretch, went around the turn in the four path, came into upper stretch in the seven path and missed the place while clear for the show. BIG JACKIE dropped back early then angled out inside the three-quarter pole, went around the turn in the five path and was no factor. MY DEVINE ONE raced well back in the field, traveled around the turn in the two then three path and failed to threaten. MY DAUGHTERS' GIFT was hustled from the gate, showed speed then raced just off the pace, dropped back near the nine-sixteenths pole, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn and faltered.
