KATIE KING brushed the near side stall at the start and was away near the rear of the field, chased three paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the two path into the turn before heading back three wide when put to coaxing three furlongs from home, angled out six wide into upper stretch, rallied to engage the leader nearing the sixteenth pole, seized command with forty yards to the finish and inched away in the late going to score. TIMIA established the front from the get go and showed the way in hand three then two wide, came under urging nearing the quarter pole and went four wide into upper stretch, dug in under growing threat to the outside and was caught forty yards from the wire while well clear of the rest for the place honors. A. P. SLINGSHOT chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn coming under urging with seven-sixteenths to run, angled six wide into upper stretch and kept on to the end. LADY WISDOM chased five then four wide under a ride from three furlongs out, tipped seven wide into upper stretch, passed tired rivals to the finish. SCARLET'S DREAM broke out at the start, chased four then three wide under encouragement from the three-eighths pole, tipped five wide into upper stretch and weakened in the drive. OUR PREFERRED PAL coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a long drive from the half mile pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, weakened. ICY LEGS chased eight paths off the rail down the backstretch and then five wide through the turn ridden along from the seven-sixteenths marker, angled in and went three to four wide at the head of the stretch and trailed.
