SECURED LANDING was hustled from the gate, showed the way down the backstretch, dictated terms in the three path on the turn, was asked in the four path into the stretch and drew off under a strong hand-ride to prove much the best. AMBITION dropped back while void of speed, moved closer with five furlongs to run, was urged along in the three path on the turn, angled out in upper stretch then drifted further out and improved to garner the place. AWESOME EMPIRE broke in and bumped with a foe, moved out early then raced towards the front, was roused while shifting from the three path to the five path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the six path and proved no match for the winner then lost the place but was clear for the show. SARA'S SHAMAN was urged along off the pace, angled in inside the three-quarter pole, moved closer with five furlongs to run, chased in the two path on the turn and weakened. SANZIO was bumped on both sides at the start then dropped back, saved ground on the turn and lacked the needed response. SMILENSAYCHEESE had the rider grab the left-rein at the start then bumped with a rival, shied multiple times in the chute, moved out inside the three-quarter pole, was urged in the four then three path on the turn and failed to threaten. FIRST TRUMPET was hustled from the gate, stalked the pace on the outside, chased in the four to five path on the turn, dropped back late on that bend and came up empty.
