MY MAGIC WAND got bumped at the start by ARTEMIS SOUND, who recovered inwards when breaking awkward, came under hustling and cut the pace from the two path patiently handled until let out continuing just off the inside into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive to prevail. EDISTRUDIS chased three then four paths off the inside down the backstretch, went five wide through the turn coming under a ride with seven-sixteenths to run, angled eight wide at the top of the stretch, kicked on belatedly to secure the place honors. THE BIG CALHOUNA chased along the inside briefly before tipping out three wide at the five furlong marker, went four wide down the remainder of the backstretch before tucking three wide through the turn coming under urging at the five-sixteenths pole, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. ARTEMIS SOUND broke awkwardly at the start recovering inwards and bumping MY MAGIC WAND, chased three to four paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked inside through the turn coming under urging midway, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, offered up late foot while unable to impact the top three. ATARAH four wide in pursuit, got coaxed along with five-sixteenths to go, tipped out six wide at the head of the stretch, offered up a bid but was outkicked.
