COQUITO tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid while asked on the turn, took the lead at the quarter-pole, dueled outside of the runner-up in the stretch and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. DESPO'S DREAM prompted the pace on the outside of the leader, was asked in the three path on the turn, took the advantage outside the five-sixteenths pole, lost the lead to the winner at the quarter-pole, dueled inside of that opponent in the stretch and just missed while clear for the place. MURSAL was well placed just off the pace, went around most of the turn in the two path, was roused in the three path late on that bend, pursued the top two under a drive in the stretch and lacked the needed kick while well clear for the show. PENS STREET dropped back while void of speed then angled in at the rear, saved ground on the turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, swung out to the six path into upper stretch and failed to threaten. BABY SASSICAIA settled under some urging, dropped back in the three path on the turn and was no factor. SHEZANARCTICQUEEN was hustled to the front, vied in the two path early on the turn, lost the lead outside the five-sixteenths pole then dropped to the inside and faded.
