Footnotes
AGIA MARINA was rated towards the front on the inside, came under urging with three furlongs to run, moved off the rail while chasing on the final turn, gained to get the lead at the top of the stretch then kicked clear, extended the advantage under a drive into the final furlong and proved much the best while drifting out some under steady urging. TRAIL OF GOLD dropped back after the start, tossed her head under restraint into the first turn, was reserved in the two to three path while given cover, came under light urging on the final turn, moved to the four path late on that bend, was roused in the five path while losing ground on the leader into the stretch and improved to get the place. SWISS MOON (FR) was hustled from the gate, stalked the pace on the outside in the two path without cover, was asked late on the backstretch, gained to make a bid in the three path at the five-sixteenths pole, lost touch with the winner in upper stretch and proved no match then lost the place but earned the show. CAN'T FOOL ME dropped back after the start, saved ground while keen under restraint, settled more kindly on the backstretch, was roused in the two path at the quarter-pole and lacked the needed response. KIAMBA (IRE) tucked into the two path then was reserved with cover, came out from behind cover near the half-mile pole, was roused in the three then four path on the final turn and failed to rally. SOUL DANCE (GB) angled in while going to the front, showed the way on the inside under a snug hold, was asked while being headed at the top of the stretch and gave way.
