GHOST ME outbroke the rest of the field by a length then quickly sped clear, showed the way off the inside, vied inside to the two path on the turn, responded well when put to a right-handed crop in upper stretch, switched to a left-handed crop inside the furlong marker and held under strong urging. MARY'S GUNNA RUN angled in early while settling off the pace, saved ground in good striking range on the turn, was roused near the five-sixteenths pole, tipped out to the two path and bumped solidly with LAST SOIREE in upper stretch and finished with good courage to get the place. CADILLAC MARY was taken in hand early then rated off the pace, rounded the turn in the three path, was roused outside the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch in the four path, chased outside into the final furlong and lacked the needed kick. LAST SOIREE came outward at the start, stalked the pace on the outside under a tight hold, was let out in the three path on the turn, bumped solidly with MARY'S GUNNA RUN in upper stretch and capitulated then lost a shoe just before the finish.
