Footnotes
MISSION IMPROBABLE was off a half-step, settled under some urging, moved closer late on the backstretch, shifted from the rail to the two path on the turn, moved out while asked for his best in upper stretch, rallied into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up in the final sixteenth and narrowly prevail. SAMMY C NOTE showed speed then pressed the pace on the outside, brushed with foes near the half-mile pole, vied in the two path on the turn, came under a drive in upper stretch, took the lead outside the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place. COUNTER MOVE moved up to get the lead then set the pace, brushed with a rival near the half-mile pole, vied along the rail on the turn, battled under a drive in upper stretch, lost the lead outside the furlong marker, fought into the final sixteenth but was outfinished while just able to get the show. REMI'S MOON bumped soundly with a rival at the start, was taken up off heels early, moved in while urged along, shifted from the two path to the six path on the turn, came into the stretch in the seven path and improved to just miss the show. SHANGRALA ROAD angled in while settling towards the rear, saved ground on the turn, was put to a drive in upper stretch, angled out into the final furlong and also improved position. CITY OF OSCARS was hustled from the gate, settled on the outside then moved in, shifted from the two path to the three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path, moved out around the three-sixteenths pole and bumped with ROAR OF THE CROWD then steadied and failed to threaten. BOLTAGE was rated just off the pace under strong restraint, raced between foes in the two path while still under a hold on the turn, was roused late on that bend, came into the stretch in the three path and lacked the needed response. READY SET TWIRL showed speed between horses and pressed the pace, brushed with rivals near the half-mile pole, dropped back late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, came off the rail while roused in upper stretch, dropped back to the fence coming to the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick. SWAGING showed speed on the outside then tracked the pace without cover, chased in the three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path and also lacked the needed kick. MASTER FREUD bumped soundly with an opponent at the start, settled on the outside, moved from the three path to the five path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the six path and failed to rally. ROAR OF THE CROWD settled off the pace, raced under a tight hold while between foes on the turn, moved from the two path to the four path on that bend, spun into the stretch in the five path, was bumped while dropping back inside the three-sixteenths pole and had nothing left.
