MOMENTUM FILES was hustled to the front then showed the way, moved to a solo lead near the nine-sixteenths pole, controlled the action while inside on the turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, responded well under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, came under a left-handed crop outside the furlong marker, switched to a right-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole and held while back under a strong hand-ride late. TOGA D'ORO was hustled from the gate then chased the pace, traveled around the turn in the three path, pursued the winner under a drive in the stretch, gained on that foe late but missed while well clear for the place. SALMING settled under some urging, went around the turn in the three path, was roused coming to the five-sixteenths pole, turned into the stretch in the four path and lacked the needed kick while clear for the show. STRATEGICOPERATION was bumped lightly at the start, pressed then chased the pace on the outside of the leader, went around the turn in the two path and weakened. MOMENT'S NOTICE dropped back early, angled in near the three-quarter pole, was urged along at the back, went around the turn in the two to three path and failed to rally. CORVUS broke out at the start, chased the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and tired. THIRTEEN G'S was fractious in the gate, broke out and was off a bit slow, spotted the front a few lengths, was urged along on the outside, went around the turn in the three then four path, came into the stretch in the five path and failed to threaten. GOOD WILLIE broke out and made light contact with an opponent, was urged along off the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, raced inside for most of the turn then shifted to the three path and failed to respond.
