KAZ FARM GIRL came away in good order and went straight to the front, moved in while showing the way, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the turn, shook clear under a mild hand-ride into upper stretch then was roused a bit, drew off under a mild hand-ride into the final furlong and widened to win handily. TIFFANY'S GEM tossed her head at the start then was pulled inward by the rider and slow into stride, moved up to race just behind the leader, drafted inside on the turn, was asked at the quarter-pole, chased inside of CAMILLE'S LEGACY in the stretch and narrowly earned second while no match for the winner. CAMILLE'S LEGACY switched outside the leader approaching the five-eighths pole, tracked that foe on the outside, made a bid late on the backstretch, vied in the three then two path while asked on the turn, lost touch with the winner while under a drive in upper stretch and proved no match then just missed second. PRIOR TO THE RACE, THE CONTESTANTS WERE BROUGHT BACK INTO THE PADDOCK FROM THE TRACK DUE TO A MECHANICAL ISSUE WITH THE CHASE TRUCK. AFTER A SHORT DELAY THEY WERE BROUGHT BACK OUT TO THE TRACK THEN WERE DELAYED FURTHER DUE TO THREE LATE SCRATCHES BEFORE GOING OFF THIRTEEN MINUTES PAST THE SCHEDULED POST TIME.
