BITE AND STRIKE moved up to race towards the front, saved ground on the turn, was asked in the two path into the stretch, rallied to the lead outside the furlong marker and drew clear under steady urging. PIVOTAL MOMENT brushed with a rival at the start, settled towards the back, was roused in the two path on the turn and improved to just get the place. SOONTOBEKING settled on the outside, was roused in the three path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the four path, chased the leader in the drive and just missed the place while able to get the show. LEARNTODISCOVER (GB) was hustled to the front then showed the way, vied inside on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner outside the furlong marker and weakened. CUANDO brushed with an opponent at the start, showed speed then tracked the pace on the outside, was asked in the two path on the turn, chased in the three path into the stretch, dropped back between horses into the final furlong and tired. CYCLONITE settled at the rear, saved ground on the turn, checked sharply behind STRATE CASH when that foe ducked in late on that bend, bobbled while swerving out and making contact with the fallen rider shortly thereafter, came well out in the course into the stretch and was eased but walked off. STRATE CASH settled on the outside, was urged along in the three path for most of the turn, ducked in towards the rail late on that bend and unseated the rider then was transported off the track via equine ambulance. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT ON THE TURN, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH
