KEEWAYDIN coaxed from the gate, established the front after the break and crossed to show the way in hand along the inside, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, edged away under a drive kept busy to the end. SHAPE NOTE three then two wide in pursuit, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to run, cornered two to three wide into upper stretch, ran on to garner the place honors. WAR STRIDE tracked the pace along the inside under a light hold when KEEWAYDIN crossed safely in front with nine-sixteenths to go, remained on hold cutting the corner into upper stretch in behind that same rival, remained tepidly handled down inside following KEEWAYDIN until tipped to the two path roused nearing the sixteenth marker, then ran on to secure the show honors while never fully extended. MASSETO (GB) coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside forwardly placed briefly and was taken hold and eased off with nine-sixteenths to go as rivals in front took to the rail to be last with half a mile to go, tipped to the two path through the turn coming under urging three furlongs out, angled five wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. Following an adjustment to the bridle by the gate crew prior to the field being loaded in the gate, STRAIGHT ARROW raced four then three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths remaining, swung four wide into upper stretch, kept on to the wire but was outkicked. NIAGARA SKYLINE coaxed from the start, chased just off the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, spun three wide into upper stretch, weakened.
