DINNER ROYALE was hustled from the gate, showed speed then contested the pace, vied in the two path under urging on the turn, dueled inside of ALWAYS HONEST in upper stretch, shook clear into the final furlong and held under steady urging. INONIT was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, angled in at the rear under urging, went around the turn in the two then three path, found his best stride in the final furlong and finished with good energy for the place. KINGS LANDYN showed speed then chased the pace on the outside, dropped from the four path to the three path early on the turn, spun back into the four path entering the stretch and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. ALWAYS HONEST bobbled just after the start, showed speed then pressed the pace, vied in the three path on the turn, dueled with the winner in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened. BIG BROOKLYN angled in under urging, saved ground on the turn, came off the rail outside the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch in the four path then moved further out and was no factor. MO CURLS was hustled from the gate then urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the three then four path, was driven into the stretch in the five path, remained on his inside lead in the drive and lacked the needed response. GITOLE was hustled from the gate, moved up to dispute the pace on the inside of rivals, dropped back near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased inside on the turn and came up empty. VIOLIN was ridden along on the outside towards the rear, traveled around the turn in the four path, moved out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. ZEUS LIGHTNING was urged along off the pace, chased in the two path on the turn, took an awkward stride while dropping back outside the quarter-pole and capitulated.
