Footnotes
TAPWRITS TEMPER chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked into the turn three then two wide by midway, spun three wide into upper stretch, rallied under a light drive to take command near the furlong marker, then drew clear and was geared down and back in hand inside the final sixteenth to the finish. RED MILLER chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, kept on to secure the place honors. SHELLAC coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside, got set down taking the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under threat from a pair of rivals and was collared nearing the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages while clear for the show honors. MONTE AVI chased along the inside down the backstretch until tipped briefly two to three wide near the half mile pole, came under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths marker and went back to the rail, swung four wide into upper stretch and improved position in the stretch. FISCAL DRAG chased seven to eight paths off the inside down the backstretch, went five wide through the turn coaxed along with seven-sixteenths to go, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and passed tired foes. DIVINE PEACE chased six paths off the rail down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn under coaxing from three furlongs out, went five wide into upper stretch and tired. DETAIL ORIENTED grew fractious in the gate and broke open the stall door prior to the load being completed, broke out at the start and bumped SOLUTIONS, chased four wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, continued four wide into upper stretch and tired. RESIDE bobbled at the break, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn, went three wide for home and faltered in the drive. SOLUTIONS got bumped at the start by DETAIL ORIENTED, chased four then three wide under urging with five-sixteenths to run, spun two to three wide into upper stretch forcing CHARLIE CHARMER to steady just outside the quarter pole and tired. CHARLIE CHARMER forwardly placed three wide down the backstretch, tucked to the two path through the turn, was in between SOLUTIONS to the outside and RED MILLER to the inside when SOLUTIONS came inwards, got forced to steady out between rivals just outside the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, got flashed the crop once to the right side and was eased home to the finish.
