MASSARAT dropped back early, settled at the rear under some restraint while saving ground, came off the inside leaving the second turn, remained unhurried at the back down the backstretch, was roused while moving from the three path to the five path on the far turn, rallied outside in upper stretch, closed strongly to make a bid coming to the sixteenth-pole and just got up under strong urging. RELAXX (FR) was rated under snug restraint in the two path, shifted to the the three then four path while roused on the final turn, rallied into upper stretch, closed well to get the lead outside the furlong marker, led under a left-handed crop into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place. SOL D'ORO was urged some to established early position, saved ground while rated just off the pace, waited while held up behind horses from the quarter-pole into upper stretch, altered out while put to urging near the three-sixteenths pole, chased behind the runner-up into the final sixteenth, found free space in front late and willingly earned the show. SNIPSNIPPITYSNIP stalked the pace on the outside in the three path without cover, made a bid on the final turn, was roused near the quarter-pole, took a brief lead in upper stretch then was headed by the runner-up, dropped back into the final furlong and was out-kicked then just missed the show. PROTECTIVE CUSTODY moved in while going to the front, showed the way on the inside through slow fractions while in hand, was asked under threat with a quarter-mile to run, lost the advantage in upper stretch and gave way. LADY FIREFOOT prompted the pace on the outside in the two path, was asked early on the final turn, vied between foes late on that bend, dropped back into upper stretch and capitulated. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate times available.
