MISS LAO lost her rear footing at the break and was away on top despite it, chased three wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung five wide into upper stretch, took over command with three-sixteenths to go, dug in under a drive edging away to the finish to prevail. LUNA MOTH chased three to four paths off the inside until tucked to the two path placed to prolonged coaxing half a mile from home, angled six wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. WHISTLER'S STYLE devoid of speed early on, grew detached at the tail of the field before making ground four then five paths off the rail down the backstretch nearing the half mile pole, went four wide through the turn coming under urging with seven-sixteenths to go and angled seven wide into upper stretch, then kept on to the wire. SANTAGATA coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside under a ride from the five-sixteenths pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, got caught three-sixteenths from home and kept on to the finish but was outfinished in the late stages. MY FIRST LOVE chased along the inside under urging from three furlongs out, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, weakened in the late going. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate times available.
