ELIMINATE settled on the outside, went around most of the turn in the four path then moved to the five path, rallied in the seven path into the stretch, closed strongly under a strong-hand ride to get the lead outside the sixteenth-pole then went clear under hand urging to the finish. GENERAL BANKER was hustled from the gate, established a good position just off the pace, chased in the two path on the turn, pursued the leaders under a drive in the stretch and just got up for the place. OTELLO was bumped at the start and forced out into another foe, went to the front, showed the way while well out in the course, vied in the three to four path on the turn, was asked outside the five-sixteenths pole, came into the stretch in the five path then battled inside of MR. PAPAGIORGIO, lost the advantage to that opponent at the furlong marker and was outfinished then just missed the place but narrowly earned the show. MR. PAPAGIORGIO stumbled badly at the start and had the rider lose his right iron, regained the iron before going a sixteenth of a mile, moved up to track the pace on the outside, was asked in the four to five path on the turn, made a bid outside the five-sixteenths pole, came into the stretch in the six path then battled outside of OTELLO, led narrowly into the final furlong but was out-kicked then just missed the superfecta. PLAYING TRICKS was hustled from the gate then urged along off the pace, traveled around the turn in the two path, was driven into the stretch in the three path under the crop and lacked the needed response. RANGER BATTALION came out then bumped with a foe at the start, settled near the back, angled in with five furlongs to run, was urged along in the three path on the turn, came into the stretch in the four path and failed to threaten. MAKES SENSE broke out a tad, pressed the pace down the backstretch, chased inside on the turn and tired. LOU settled off the pace, angled in near the five-eighths pole, saved ground under urging on the turn and failed to respond.
