SHE'S GRAND vied early on with a pair of rivals before settling four then three wide in closest aim of the leader, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and spun three wide into upper stretch, took to the two path straightened away seizing command, came inwards sealing off the inside and forcing AEOLIAN to check off her heels, dug in under a drive and had AEOLIAN threaten late and held on by a neck to prevail, then suffered an injury to the left front leg in the gallop out and was expertly pulled up by the rider, got attended to and vetted on track and was subsequently transported off the course via the equine ambulance. AEOLIAN coaxed from the start, chased just off the inside from just off the pace, cut the corner roused into upper stretch, had the aforementioned foe come inwards and was forced to check off her heels a furlong out, got re-engaged by the rider and gained clearance inside the sixteenth pole when ROMANTIC DANCER backed away and tipped out surging late to miss on the wire by a neck. WILL NOT BE SWAYED chased five then four wide coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths pole, tipped six wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive offering up a mild kick in a good effort. SOUNDBITE chased six then five wide under urging from the five-sixteenths marker, cornered five wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals to the finish. ROMANTIC DANCER four wide in pursuit, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, continued four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and weakened in the late stages. BRUNCH WITH AMY coaxed from the start, chased along the inside under a ride with five-sixteenths to run, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, offered no response. COQUITO vied early on and then chased three wide under urging from three furlongs out, tipped four wide into upper stretch, weakened. ABSOLUTE HONOR coaxed from the gate, vied early on with a pair for foes before establishing sole albeit narrow command, showed the way in hand just off the inside coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, yielded the front straightened away and weakened. There was a Stewards' inquiry into the stretch run as well as a claim of foul by the rider of AEOLIAN alleging interference against SHE'S GRAND at the eighth pole. After review, it was deemed that SHE'S GRAND had interfered with AEOLIAN and SHE'S GRAND was disqualified and placed second prior to the race being declared official.
