BOSTON'S PHINEST was bumped on both sides at the start then pinched back, settled on the outside, was roused in the three path on the turn, came out to the six path into the stretch, rallied outside in the final furlong and closed strongly to get up in the final sixteenth and prevail. DANCINGWITHDESTINY veered in at the start then bumped with a foe, tracked the pace on the outside, ranged up in the three path on the turn, made a bid at the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead into upper stretch, shook clear into the final furlong, swapped back to her inside lead outside the sixteenth-pole, led into the final sixteenth but was overtaken while able to get the place. MARIA CALLAS had a shoe repaired in the paddock, moved in while taken in hand then was rated towards the front, rounded the turn in the two path while let out, was roused in the four path into the stretch, chased into the final furlong, drifted in near the sixteenth-pole and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show.
